The 2025 Men’s and Women’s March Madness tournaments have delivered thrilling action and unexpected upsets this season. On the men’s side, top teams like Duke and Auburn have dominated, with Duke leading the pack with an impressive 28-3 record. The tournament has seen incredible individual performances, including Duke’s star Cooper Flagg, who has averaged 22.5 points per game, leading the Blue Devils to the 1 seed in the tournament.
South Carolina has continued its reign as a powerhouse, holding a 30-3 record. The Gamecocks’ sophomore forward Joyce Edwards has been a standout, averaging 13.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game, leading her team to the win in the Women’s SEC Championship game. Auburn University’s men’s basketball team has had an exciting and competitive 2025 season. Auburn finished the regular season with a solid 27-4 record, earning a high seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Standout performances have led the team from their star guard Tahaad Pettiford, who has averaged 11.6 to accompany Johni Broome’s 18.6 points per game with 10 rebounds. They have been a key factor in both their offensive and defensive strategies.
